Situated
in a quiet street, the hotel Astor Saint Honoré is right next to the
chic Faubourg Saint Honoré, between la Madeleine, the Champs-Elysées and
the Opéra. The hotel is decorated with originality, as demostrated by
it's amazing black and white lobby, with its oak panelling and conch
wall lighting designed by Giacometti. The Astor's 134 rooms are
decorated with white marble fireplaces and also have air conditioning, a
safe, Internet access, large screen television, a stereo and a hair
dryer in each bathroom. The hotel's restaurant is in an oval room with
surprising "trompe l'oeil" paintings. It is run by the famous chef, Joël
Robuchon. The Astor also has an elegant bar with a cosy atmosphere as
well as a library and a gym.
